Stephanie is a passionate Angeleno dedicated to advancing equity and justice, with particular emphasis on homelessness, housing insecurity, and promoting and facilitating community engagement. Her mission-driven career has spanned the nonprofit sector (Inner City Law Center; HEART LA), public sector (Los Angeles City Council; Fulbright Scholar in Poland), and civic service (Bruce's Beach Task Force to the City of Manhattan Beach). In service of this mission, she co-founded a capacity-building and technical assistance firm designed to provide strategic support to non-profit and community-based organizations. She joins NoHo Home Alliance motivated by its operating model of deep community support combined with compassionate applied expertise. It is her belief that this powerful force, the same fusion which has shaped Stephanie's professional and public life, is the catalyst through which tangible, systemic change can be realized.

Sandy learned about the NoHo Home Alliance in January 2019 when she bought some cookies at a NHHA bake near the Studio City Farmer’s Market. She has been a volunteer on the NHHA team ever since and is now one of the Site Managers. Sandy has over 20 years’ experience in management consulting, healthcare technologies and leadership development. In 2020, she completed her MPH at UCLA with a focus on Community Health.

She loves supporting the community we serve as well as helping strengthen NHHA internal processes. Spending time with the NHHA community is the best part of her week and she is grateful to be part of the team.

A native Angeleno, Josh joins NHHA after spending three years in New York City as a legal assistant and volunteering with organizations providing emergency services throughout the five boroughs. His passion for being of service has led him to volunteer and building relationships with communities across the continental U.S. Josh is extremely thankful for the opportunity to use his live-experience and law aspirations to help NHHA achieve its mission and vison.

Born and raised in New York, Alyssa (she/her) has spent most of the last decade in North Hollywood and feels lucky to be serving her unhoused neighbors as part of the NoHo Home Alliance team. She comes to NHHA with a background in supporting at-risk teens facing sexual exploitation and children and families transitioning out of homelessness, and as a community organizer. Since 2018, Alyssa has been organizing within a multiracial network of local social justice organizations as a member of Los Angeles anti-racist collective White People 4 Black Lives, and she is committed to using the trauma-informed, restorative conflict resolution skills gained from this experience to build trust with and advocate for her unhoused clients.

Alyssa is passionate about shifting the narrative around homelessness so that people who feel far removed from or frustrated by the struggles of their unhoused neighbors are moved to invest more time, energy, and compassion into building a community that’s safe for all, not just those they most identify with—starting in her own neighborhood.
