Our outreach team visits unhoused community members where they live to check in and make sure they are connected to important resources
We're now doing outreach every other week in North Hollywood and Studio City! (Sherman Oaks routes are on pause)
Schedule
How Outreach Works
We pack up essential supplies like water, snacks and hygiene kits. Then, we head out to visit our neighbors living on the street and in encampments.
As we connect with folks, we check in to see what they might need and offer what we can, including information about services in the area like NHHA's Drop-In Program.
Training
We recommend folks attend an info session about NoHo Home Alliance before joining us on outreach but it's not required. New volunteers shadow existing teams and it's through active listening and experience that you learn the most.
